- World War IV 2090– The United states have turned into a Socialist Nation oppressing its people and government. What started out as a civil war seemed to escalate on that of a global scale.
- An unknown blood merchant is fighting on the side of Order and Oppression supplying them with weapons of a strange origin that are able to accomplish impossible feats. Those that are against the government quickly retreat towards Central America hoping they can start a new life.
- 2093, The End of the War- In a show of power the embattled US Military launch the newly developed SPX-15 missile; It completely erases central America off of the face of the earth. This forces the other governments of the world to unite to dismantle the US and the weapon for study.
- First Contact – The SS make contact with the UN leaders letting them know that the antagonist of the war is a rogue member of their squad 12 and that he is currently still unaccounted for, in an act of shame the shinigami have requested the help of the humans in locating their rogue.
- Only the governing bodies of the world know of the existence of the Soul Society and have a small military like force of people who can naturally use the spirit energy in the world of the living. Those who are found to be full bringers or spiritually aware in anyway are offered position within this secret organization; if they refused they are classified as renegades and are kept under surveillance.
