When you reach certain ranks new abilities become available. In total each race has five abilities available to them (Transformation abilities excluded)throughout the course of their progression. To attain these abilities, once the appropriate rank has been met, you must complete a roleplay which meets or exceeds the word count requirement for each ability, detailing how your character mastered his new ability.
Shinigami:
Shinigami abilities revolve around their Zanpakuto and the strengthening communion between the wielder and the spirit contained within their weapon. Please see Shikai and Bankai Info for more information and use the Shikai Template for your applications.
Unsealed form:
After completing an RP (No word count requirement, but it will still have to be approved by staff), you will gain access to the unsealed form of your Zanpakuto.
Requirements: Rank 2.
First ability:

Second Ability:

Third Ability:

Bankai:
Bankai is the most powerful of a Shinigami’s abilities. Please use Bankai Template for your applications.
Ability One:
When you unlock Bankai you will automatically be granted your first ability. You must complete a Roleplay and submit an application to the Ability Application forum a staff member will then view and approve/deny it. If it is approved it will be added to your bio.
Requirements: Rank 6, 2000 Word Count.

The second, and final, Bankai ability. You must complete a Roleplay and submit an application to the Ability Application forum a staff member will then view and approve/deny it. If it is approved it will be added to your bio.
Requirements: Rank 9, 2500 Word Count.
Hollow:
Hollow abilities are perhaps the most diverse of any race in the Bleach Universe. Ranging from expendable limbs to corrosive acids. Hollow start with two basic abilities and all abilities must be a variation of the same overall power. Please use Other Races Ability Template and apply to the Ability Application Forum.
Third Ability:
The third of your Hollow Abilities, you must complete a Roleplay and submit an application to the Ability Application forum a staff member will then view and approve/deny it. If it is approved it will be added to your bio.
Requirements: Rank 2, 600 Word Count.
Fourth Ability:
The fourth of your Hollow Abilities, you must complete a Roleplay and submit an application to the Ability Application forum a staff member will then view and approve/deny it. If it is approved it will be added to your bio.

Fifth Ability:

Super Human:
Super Human abilities perhaps the most diverse of any race in the Bleach Universe. Super Humans start with two basic abilities and all abilities must be a variation of the same overall power. Please use Other Races Ability Template and apply to the Ability Application Forum.
Third Ability:
The third of your Super Human Abilities, you must complete a Roleplay and submit an application to the Ability Application forum a staff member will then view and approve/deny it. If it is approved it will be added to your bio.
Requirements: Rank 2, 600 Word Count.
Fourth Ability:
The fourth of your Super Human Abilities, you must complete a Roleplay and submit an application to the Ability Application forum a staff member will then view and approve/deny it. If it is approved it will be added to your bio.

Fifth Ability:

Quincy:
Quincy abilities are derived from their power to draw on and manipulate the spirit particles all around them, this normally takes the form of a ranged weapon, such as a bow. Quincy start with two basic abilities and all abilities must be a variation of the same overall power. Please use Other Races Ability Template and apply to the Ability Application Forum.
Third Ability:
The third of your Quincy Abilities, you must complete a Roleplay and submit an application to the Ability Application forum a staff member will then view and approve/deny it. If it is approved it will be added to your bio.
